About LUCIA
I've never been an artist who fits neatly into one box.
Over the years I've made dance music, pop, pop-rock and everything in between. I've experimented, changed direction and followed whatever felt right at the time. And while that might make me difficult to put into a genre, I actually think it's one of the things that defines me as an artist.
But soul music has always been there.
I've always been drawn to big, emotional voices. The kind where you can hear every bit of feeling behind what they're singing. I've never wanted to just sound technically good — I want people to feel something when I sing.
And I think it's taken me a long time to realise that I needed to make music that actually gives my voice the room to do that.
That's where I am now.
I'm building a soulful sound around real musicians, a live band and songs that come from somewhere genuine. My songwriting has always been emotional and very personal. I write about the things that get under my skin, the things I overthink, the things that hurt, and the things that aren't always easy to admit.
For the first time, I feel like the music around those words is really allowing them — and my voice — to breathe.
The next part for me is about taking that sound out of the studio and onto the stage. I want to build something with my band that feels alive. Not perfect and overproduced. Real musicians, real vocals, real emotion.
I've spent years trying different sounds and figuring out where I belong.
Maybe I needed all of those different versions of myself to get here.
But this feels like me.
